Getting started
Otaku Forum is a social review platform for anime, manga, manhwa, light novels and more. It brings together honest reviews, a community-maintained catalogue of works, creator tools, real-time activity and a warm place to talk about the stories you love.
Do I need an account?
No — the platform is public by design. You can browse reviews, works, profiles, the gallery, the board, live streams and everything else without signing in. You only need an account to do things: posting, reacting, following, commenting, bookmarking or contributing. Simply viewing never asks you to sign in and never redirects you away.
Signing in — no passwords
There are no passwords to remember. When you sign in, we email you a one-time code and a magic link. Enter the code, or tap the link, and you are in. Codes are short-lived for your security, so grab a fresh one if it expires.
Multiple accounts on one device
A single device can keep several accounts signed in at once and switch between them instantly, without re-entering a code — handy if you keep a personal and a creator account, for example.
Onboarding
The first time you join, a short welcome flow helps you set up your profile: pick a display name and handle, choose your interests, and select the roles that describe you (Reader, Reviewer, Artist, Writer, Translator, Streamer and many more). You can skip anything and change it all later from your profile.
